After last year's success with the Mosaic Project, GEM is proud to announce that Mosaic 2.0 is happening! This spring - fall, GEM will be conducting a series of events. This workshop is in partnership with Good Food Brampton with financial support from the IMPACT Leaders Fund, to connect Peel youth to learn more about local and global sustainable practices. Workshop dates and themes have been selected to celebrate key national and international days. Our first workshop commemorates Internation Day of Biodivesity (May 26th) and takes place during the 100in1Day Canada initaitive on June 2nd. Through hands-on activities, faciliators will highlight the differences between native and invasive species, including forageable edibles, and how this is impacting environmental biodiversity locally. Light refreshments will be served and bus tickets and volunteer hours can be provided on request. There are only 20 spots available for this workshop, so please RSVP as soon as possible. If you can no longer attend, please do let us know so someone who can attend is able to do so.
