Our first workshop will highlight World Population Day (July 11th), which aims to increase people's awareness on various population issues such as the importance of family planning, gender equality, poverty, maternal health and human rights. This workshop will highlight current climate change and environmental issues. Our day will include some do-it-yourself activities and learning about how to get involved in the Peel environment scene! Canada 150 / Resistance 150July 29
Our second workshop will cover #Canada150 (July 1st) and the countermovement #Resistance150. We hope to talk about Canadian multiculturalism, identity and Indigenous issues in Canada. International Youth DayAugust 12
Our final workshop will fall on International Youth Day (August 12th), which is an annual celebration of the world's youth role in enhancing our global society! We hope to highlight young people’s contributions to making our world a more sustainable place including interesting start-ups and youth-led initiatives. There will be a friendly case competition for participants. |
